Margaret Loescher is a writer of fiction and nonfiction and a mother of two young daughters. Sometimes these roles support one another; they often challenge one another. They both sustain her. She has worked as a Waldorf kindergarten assistant for a short time and now leads “Woodmice,” an outdoor parent- child group in a local nature reserve. She is a Quaker and helps facilitate her local Children’s Meeting. A storyteller at home, in schools, in Quaker Meeting, and in the woods, she lives with her husband and children in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
